[Discussion] What are you reading?

So, I'm starting this thread to share and receive recommendation for good books, mangas and films. Which one have you read/watched this month and want to share with others?
As for me, here's my list:
Manga: recently I have an unexplainable urge for horror and gore. The gems I've found so far are:
- hell baby (Hino Hideshi): got this after reading a thread in horror box. The art is not the kind of pleasing the eyes, but the meaning is beautifully deep, touching and a bit cryptic. Somehow I found the ending resemble one of The little mermaid.
- Skyhigh (Tsutomu Takahashi): for the first chapter, I though it just another version of Hell girl. Lucky that I gave it a 2nd try.
- Saitenhei no otoko: interesting concept, nice character development, and funny. And boobs. Gag boobs.

Books:
- Animal farm (George Owen): blatantly satirical. A must for anyone who loves this genre, or want to know more about post ww2 era. Bonus point: It's short.
- Metamorphosis (kafka): gonna read it this week. It has been on my waiting list for quite a long time.

Well,the manga i have bought this month were :
- Pandora Hearts by Mochizuki Jun

It's so f*kin tragedy that makes me cry alots

- KHR by Amano Akira

OMGGGGGGGG, IT'S SO F*KIN EPICCCCCC

- Sengoku Strays by Shingo Minami

I love it alots

It's about Japanese History even though some of the detail isn't true but i love it

And Books i only read danmei but maybe some of u wont like it

I'm so sorry that I only read books. I've never tried manga before. And here is my list:

- Say hello for me (Takuji Ichikawa)
- Be with you (Takuji Ichikawa)
- The Alchemist (Paulo Coelho)
- Twinkle Twinkle (Kaori Ekuni)
- Child's Play (Ichiyo Higuchi)
- The Lake (Banana Yoshimoto)
- Kat's Paradise (Kazumi Yomoto)
- The Friends (Kazumi Yomoto)
- The Reader (Bernhard Schlink)
- The fault in our stars (John Green)
- The book thief (Markus Zusak)

And I'mma read Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and his years of pilgrimage by Haruki Murakami.

Anyways, I hope you can suggest me some good manga to read. Thanks in advance.

Well...
I've just read Inheritance (Christopher Paolini) part 2 and I cried a lot.
And I'm going to read Noruwei no mori of Murakami Haruki once again. It must be read many time to completely understand, I think. You know, it's Murakami Haruki.
About manga, I just continue to read Fairy Tail.
