| TV series: Keitarou and his childhood sweetheart make a promise to be accepted at and to meet each other at the prestigious Tokyo University (Toudai) before she moved out of his life. About a decade later, Keitarou has become an artist and a daydreamer, having ranked 27th from the last in the national practice exam. When his grandmother leaves the all-girls dormitory, he becomes the residential manager and soon meets up with two Toudai applicants who may have been that sweetheart, since he has forgotten her name. And then there are the other tenants like young Shinobu who was in despair until Keitarou helped her, Motoko the swords master who sees men as evil distractions, Kaolla Su the genius child inventor and the sneaky Kitsune. |

And as the first Christmas of the millennium, there is a rumour that if one confesses his love on this special eve it will come true. Keitarou has decided what he needs to do on this Christmas Eve, but being a retaker can he afford taking attention away from the tests on the same day? On top of that he is not the only one confessing on this Christmas Eve... |
Spring Special: The Toudai entrance exams have finally come (again) for Keitarou. With all his confidence he takes the test, but ends up falling asleep and dreaming about Narusegawa. Waking up with barely any time to complete the test, Keitarou thinks he will fail and tries to escape from Hinata Inn and forget all the memories with it. By a stroke of luck he meets Seta, but ends up on a faraway island with the whole cast looking for him. |
Again OVA: Keitarou and Naru have finally begun college life at Tokyo University. After a long period of studying, bizarre happenings, random trips, and misunderstanding upon misunderstanding, their dream has finally come true. However, their feelings for each other are still a little... muddled. And with a newer, stricter manager to run the Hinata Apartments, will anyone survive Hinata Boot Camp? |
