Synopsis

The Mystery Of Mamo faithfully adapts the antics of the well-defined cast of characters from Monkey Punch's classic comic book series, Lupin III, into an exciting, fast-paced satirical and amorous feature-length animated film. Lupin succeeds in pulling off a series of seemingly impossible capers in order to score "big time" with Fujiko, his beautiful archrival. Curiously, all of the capers involve some arcane object associated with eternal life. But there is more to Lupin's schemes than a simple one-night stand. His efforts result in a crucial date with destiny as he faces the mysterious, enigmatic Mamo - his most deadly and diabolical foe.
